Our commercial sector includes expertise in the following:  HVAC, power, chemical, oil & gas, bio-fuels, mining, general industrial and Nary/marine applications. Xylem- Heat Transfer produces pre-engineered shell and tube, custom design shell and tube, gasketed plate, brazed plate, and air cooled heat exchangers under the Xylem brands Standard Xchange for the industrial market segments and Bell & Gossett for the commercial HVAC market segments.
Specifically, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer I.  Performs research, design, and development in such areas as mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, thermodynamic, or heat transfer for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Define planning and methodologies to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.
· Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions and/or guidance from more senior functional staff.
· Limited use and/or application of basic technical principles, theories, and concepts to specific job assignments.
· Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope following standardized practices and procedures.
· Contributes to the completion of routine technical tasks. Failure to achieve results can normally be overcome without serious effect on schedules and programs.
· Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the section or group.

Required Experience:


· BS in designated Engineering or related field 

· 0-5 Years w/BS in designated Engineering or related field.

· Knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD tools. AutoCad 2004 and ProE/CREO experience (preferred) 
· ASME BPV Code & project management experience (preferred)
